Price rise in Coffee Beans 2022

It took a lot of effort and time, but finally our new season Beans have arrived !

Dalat Arabica and Lam Dong Robusta beans.

Early tastings are looking great. We will try different roast profiles and see what suits these best.

A Shortage of transport ships has sent prices skyrocketing for freight, and coffee prices from South East Asia have also increased considerably.

However, we will do our best to keep prices down and quality up.

Arabica is in great demand since the coffee bean shortage originating in Brazil (the worlds largest supplier of coffee), this then increases prices in other countries such as Vietnam (the worlds 2nd largest supplier of coffee)

Although only a few percent of Vietnam's crops are Arabica, the rest being varying grades of Robusta.

We here at FOB Coffee, specialis in "Fine" Robusta, grown at a hughes altitude to standard Robusta, so we find these prices are also steep.

I don't know about you, but if my coffee tastes awesome and gets me through the day, then i think it's worth the extra 50c per cup?
